Why Is Black History Important?
Without Black History there would be no American History. America was built by the hard work of Black people.
The contributions of African Americans to these United States have been innumerable and have benefitted America economically, as well as, culturally.
Black History must not be forgotten, lest we blend into the melting pot of America.
If black history is no longer celebrated, Black people will have been forgotten, swallowed up and put in the background of this country, while others take the forefront and succeed.
Black History should be honored throughout the 365 days of the year. Without Black History, there is no history.
BLACK HISTORY IS NOT A PASSING FAD.
BLACK HISTORY IS HERE TO STAY!
