- My business goals are simple to give hope to all students and adults with dyslexia the needed information. So they can go after their goal and reach their full ponential.
- About Me:
- Pamela C. Blanks as a medical professional, she followed the research and developments in educational rehabilitation. In 2000 she founded the Multimedia Institute Foundation for Dyslexia to reach out and help others cope with the condition. MMI began to grow as a collaboration of professionals who shared a concern for the growing number of underachieving students in our schools and at-risk young adults in our communities. The team included educators concerned that students at all grade levels were struggling with undiagnosed or misdiagnosed learning disabilities, including Dyslexia. Some were medical professionals who were concerned with the trend to overmedicate for Attention Deficit and for Hyperactivity. On the other hand, some were artists, who had demonstrated that these learning disorders often resulted in expanded visual awareness and artistic creativity in students.
