Hi, I'm Jacqueline Taylor-Adams, a marketing geek if there ever were one; an idea person and lover of the arts as well. So, the gemini in me took the idea ego and paired it with my marketing ego, put on my cultural arts frame and poof -- out came, The Master Griot Project. and the Black Business Space Value Tour.

The Master Griot Project[tm], an act of Social Entrepreneurship. With the pure intent to harness the growing popularity of Spoken Word/Performance Poetry into a blend of altruism and marketing that will help build effective African American communities, The Master Griot Project™ uses the great artistry and words of master level performance poets with varied styles and ages to market the diversity and viability of spoken word to audiences ages 12 to 55, advertising and marketing agencies, institutions of learning and cause-driven movements.

The Black Business Space Value Tour manifests itself as an entertainment and business development product that is for the community made from the community.

The BBS Value Tour speaks to businesses' and artists' commitment to the community AND the community's (you, me, we) commitment to its businesses, institutions, and artists.

As an extension of the Black Business Space experience, We, the BBS Value Tour Community, bear our ancestral culture of the extended family; rallying the kinship community in support of businesses of community members, our supporter's businesses, Family, the Environment, one another, and most importantly, the Artists who are the storytellers of our culture.

House Of Umoja - The House of UMOJA is now an internationally acclaimed organization that is dedicated to the positive development of youth, reducing violence and abusive behavior, providing interventions in negative behavior and improving the quality of life for economically disadvantaged urban male youth and their families. Its comprehensive program provides a positive living environment for boys ages 15-18 who unfortunately lack a sufficient family structure and it operates on the principle of the extended family. Its rich 40-year history of service has been acknowledged with over 100 awards for work with at-risk youth, ending gang warfare and community service.

President Ronal Regan stated, “The Fattahs replaced the gang structure with a family structure.”
