The Joy of the Lord is My strength!
God never changes
While the world seems caught up in turmoil, God never changes. "God reigns over the nations." He remains sovereign.
Through every change, God remains perfectly calm. He isn't worried or caught up in emotional traumas. He simply sits "on His holy throne," ruling, directing, and completing His plans. He was there yesterday. He is there today. He will be there tomorrow. No matter what takes place in the world, He remains on that throne!
If we focus on the events of the world, our hearts can be subject to an emotional roller coaster - up one moment, down the next...never sure how we will feel the next morning...constantly worried and uncertain...battered and shaken.
The answer? Trust in God.
Make sure that you are trusting Him today. But through every circumstance, God remains on His throne. You can believe in Him - absolutely - today, and throughout your life.
Father, thank You that You reign over all the earth. I praise and worship You. I know that You will meet my every need. Thank You for Your peace. I trust in You. In Jesus' name. Amen.
